Case studies

Top Tegel is a commercial office property in Berlin with a total area of approximately 62,000 m².

In phase I, a PV system with a capacity of 420kWp was installed.

In Phase II, CHP systems with a nominal electrical capacity of up to 500 kWe are planned to be installed in various Top Tegel buildings, including micro gas turbines, serving as CHP units.

Phase III includes 22 EV charging stations that are already in operation, controlled by a 250 kWA load management system – with the plan to increase the number to 100 EV charging stations.

A battery (electricity storage) is under design to ensure the supply for 100 EV charging stations.

INIT is a multi-tenant building in Amsterdam with a commercial area of approximately 34,000 m².

The PV part of the overall project includes the installation of 771 kWp of solar capacity – making it the largest rooftop PV project in Amsterdam.

The CHP sub-project includes 3 micro gas turbine systems (Capstone C65) with 195 kWe of rated power. In addition, there are geothermal-based heat pump systems (TES) with an installed capacity of about 2 MWth.

Here, too, fast-charging stations for EVs are part of the overall concept. 7 EV charging stations will be in operation this year.

The Park Center Treptow is a mixed-use retail, office and residential development with an area of approximately 27,000 m².

The overall project includes the IP-typical triad of PV and CHP plants, as well as EV charging stations:

The installed rooftop PV system has a capacity of 197 kWp.

The CHP sub-project included the renewal of the rooftop heating system. Two Capstone micro gas turbines with a nominal capacity of 100 kWe were installed, with preparation for another two Capstone systems; in addition, a modern natural gas boiler cascade with 1.8 MW firing capacity replaced the former old oil boiler.

The triad will see 10 EV charging stations with a load management system, scheduled to be operational in 2022.

Dezember-Soforthilfe
