Can I really switch electricity providers as a tenant?
Yes. If you pay your own electricity bill (not bundled into rent), you’re free to choose your provider, just like your internet or phone plan.
I live in an apartment. Can I still join IE?
Yes. If your building has rooftop solar installed by IE, you’re eligible to become a customer. We work building by building—no single units for now.
What happens to my current contract?
We will cancel your old contract for you. If there’s a notice period, we schedule the switch for the earliest possible date. You won’t be double-billed.
Is IE really cheaper than my current provider?
In most cases—yes. Because your energy is generated right on your roof, you skip grid fees and middleman markups. Our fixed pricing keeps things clear.
Are there any hidden costs?
